Founder, Retired SSG Tonya L. Price, has served in the US Army for 20 years. During her service, she served those doing what she loved as a Behavioral Health Specialist. Since retirement, she has used her knowledge and experience from her time in active duty to help those become educated on what benefits they are eligible for as well as helping fellow soldiers, even after their service. She has strived to do as much as possible for those who have found themselves in difficult situations, such as losing their home or becoming unemployed. Retired SSG Price has dedicated countless time to help and has helped over 2,000 veterans within the CSRA as well in other states by guiding them into the right direction whether she could help or knew someone who could.

Our Vision
It is so easy to fall into a pattern of apathy as we go through our lives. Our organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real issues of society, and deal with them head on. We have set out to aid those who need it most. Veterans Service and Assistance INC. is here to help, and we believe that change is possible when we put our hearts and minds to it.
Our Mission
Our organization has a goal that we strice to address issues such as suicide, homelessness, and traditional anxieties. Our two primary focuses are housing for the homeless and advocating for all veterans regardless of branch of service, era, or time served. We all deserve our basic human needs met and there should be no exceptions.
We aid in temporary housing/assistance with job seeking by using our resources for those veterans in need. Everyone deserves another chance.

We want to make sure that most of all, our veterans are being heard and getting the counseling they need. We partner with counselors in the area as well as referring the VA Crisis Help Line

As we service our community, we want to ensure we are helping as much as possible for those who fought and served for our country. Some of the services we offer to them are job/housing placements (temporary and permanent), counseling referrals, and VA claim referrals.
